Tony Benson was born in Birmingham and raised in a small town called Holly Pond, Alabama. His father held many state titles and records, so it was inevitable that Tony would become a multi-sport athlete. Whether it was on a baseball diamond, digging in the trenches, or even in a gym, he has always loved the competition. From the age of nine until fifteen, he had relocated to nine different schools in eight years.
After the completion of High School, Tony chose to follow the steps of his mother and experience life in the United States Navy. He traveled from boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois to enjoying the magnificent wonders of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. These places exposed him to many cultures. While serving in the Navy, Tony became a certified Master Food Executive. This title brought dinner preparations for many Admirals and Captains in the fleet. His love of food launched his career from the military kitchen to the civilian kitchen.
Almost immediately after the end of his military term, he got hot in the civilian kitchens. Although his ventures in the food industry were growing rapidly, he was not satisfied with his results. With his competitive attitude and passion for growth mentality, the universe gave him a sales and marketing company. Instantly, he fell in love with the company’s culture and the massive opportunities available for him. Tony hit the ground running and has not stopped moving his feet since. He remains excited about continually growing his knowledge of entrepreneurship and developing his leadership skills.
On his free time he loves to travel to new places and experience life to its fullest. He also finds time to get to his yoga mat and tuck away a down dog. Food has always been a passion him, so if he is not creating his own food masterpiece, he is out searching for the best local food spot. Eating is believing!
